Dr. Jennifer Brix
(She/Her)

Naturopathic Physician; Menopause Society Certified Practitioner

As a co-owner of Brix Wellness Group, I am dedicated to patient care and offer an interdisciplinary experience in the Okanagan and on Vancouver Island. As a Certified Menopause Pracitioner from the Menopause Society, I have a focus on female health, from PMS and infertility to perimenopause and menopause, while also treating those with gastrointestinal complaints and cognitive and mood-related conditions.

As a three-times academically published writer, my passion for learning and research motivated me to expand my work. In addition to seeing patients, I am an educational specialist for Factors Group of Nutritional Supplements, Inc., training health industry retailers and educating the public on many areas of health. I love sharing my knowledge and appear regularly as a guest on radio and television shows, host webinars, and provide health articles for various publications.

I am a member in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC, the BC Naturopathic Association, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. I am certified in Acupuncture, Bowen Therapy, Neural and Injection Therapy, Immunization from the BCCDC, and hold BC Prescription Rights.

In my spare time, I combine my passion for education with a commitment to educating on matters close to my heart. I am actively involved in conservation and sustainability initiatives, promoting awareness of the delicate relationship between wild elephants and the Samburu people of Eastern Africa and the trafficking of animals in Ecuador. I have also volunteered in home-building and medical care projects in Mexico and Nicaragua, and hope to instill these values in my children.

When not seeing patients or travelling, I enjoy exploring our beautifual backyard, whether it be hiking the forests or surfing the waves, with my husband, chiropractor Christian Brix, daughter Pippa, and English cocker spaniel, Matty.
