Orthopedic and Pelvic Floor Registered Physiotherapist
Meggan (Hunt) Oliver has been a licensed Physiotherapist since 2007. After growing up in Victoria, she completed an honours degree in Kinesiology at UVic and then a Masters in Physical Therapy at UBC. She loves learning and teaching. She has taken post professional training in manual and manipulative therapy (FCAMPT), dry needling (Kinetacore level 1 and 2), medical acupuncture (CAFCI), the Connect Therapy series from Dr. LJ Lee, various pelvic health courses (OBF, OBA, Pelvic 1 and 2), running rehabilitation and sports courses, and is also a birth doula. She frequently teaches workshops, provides mentorship and physio student training, and has created her own online course on the treatment of tailbone pain.
Meggan is a caring clinician who enjoys coaching her patients toward their goals. She combines her extensive skill set as both a pelvic floor physio and an orthopedic physio to provide the best care. She uses education, manual skills and exercise to provide a "multi-modal" and evidence-based approach to care. Her deepest passion is providing care to a person during pregnancy or postpartum to help people return to fun physical activities and optimal health.
Meggan is a mother of 2 school age kids that keep her on her toes. She loves trail running, mountain biking, hiking, geocaching, adventure racing, camping, traveling, skiing, board games and meeting new people.
